Acknowledgment

Proverbs 3: 5 & 6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Question: Do we want what we, as imperfect beings can conjure up? What we, as fragile as we are can build, or what we can create?
OR, do we want what GOD, the maker of the heavens and the earth has in store for us? Would we rather have what our almighty creator and savior can do to make our lives more abundant?

For me, I have seen the results of my own agendas and ideas.... thankfully, consequences came before I got too far along on my own treacherous path. I have been graced to see the results of HIS plans- and the journey HE has laid out is beautiful! This trust, this leaning on my Heavenly Father, has eliminated almost all worry about tomorrow, because I know He will provide more than I need.

Lord, thank you for Your promises- it strengthens my heart and my will to know that You care for me. I will cast all my cares on you- Thank You for carrying me and for providing my every need. I pray for those who feel stuck, who feel overwhelmed. I pray that Your love would overwhelm them today... that they could release their own agendas for this life, and look to you: the ultimate health care provider! Thank You Jesus- AMEN
